Stylish Stick Figures for Cartoon Animator 4.2 - New Characters by TET

Animating stick figures is almost a right of passage for any animator who has ever made an old fashioned flipbook or discovered the free stickman animator app, Pivot Animator.

There's also the hugely popular viral stick figure animation, Animator Versus Animation and its sequels by Alan Becker that continue to inspire variations more than 12 years later.

Back when Vyond was GoAnimate they had a stick figure theme that was popular site wide despite having many other themes with much more refined Saturday morning cartoon style characters.

I even had my own stick figure series, Harry Chalk, on GoAnimate.

Long story short, I was looking through the Reallusion Cartoon Animator Marketplace and discovered there really weren't any well designed, traditional looking stick figure characters.

That's not to say there weren't any at all but I wanted something similar to GoAnimate's stick figures which included full facial features and male and female versions.

Rather than just recreate GoAnimate's stick figures I decided to add my own style by making my, all new stick figures for Cartoon Animator 4, more curvy, with variable line thicknesses on the arms, legs, and body.

My stick figures also take advantage of CA4's new G3-360 heads, and Bone Hand  features, which give you the ability to move the character's face a full 180 degrees, and animate individual fingers on each hand.

Not content to just create one stick figure character, my stylish stick figures include male and female versions along with a selection of different colors. I even made a chalkboard version.

    I recently purchased your pack. Nice! I removed all face features for an animation I did for Youtube using the Who's on First routine. Then I removed face features and hands and feet for some additional animations in the works. Your pack leaves lot of possibilities. I agree about adding stick animals. More stick figure types would be welcome in the future (something like the figures Alan Becker uses.

      Thanks for your purchase. I'm glad you found my stick figures to be of use. I didn't want to do stick figures like Alan's because I feel anyone could make those if they really needed them. They're about as basic as stick figures get.

      I do plan to make some stick figure animals in the future. Just a matter of finding some time.

Dollars Mocap: Full Body Webcam Motion Capture (Including Hands and Fingers) For iClone and Cartoon Animator

Even though I should be further away from the camera Dollars Mocap MONO still does a good job of  tracking my arms, hands and fingers. Ever since I wrote my series on becoming a VTuber , discovering it was possible to do full body motion capture, including hands and fingers, with just software and a webcam, I've been on the look out for any motion capture software that can bring that functionality to Cartoon Animator. Dollars Mocap is a low cost motion capture application with a free trial that I learned about through the YouTube Channel Digital Puppets  and their test video . It can record full body, upper body, arms and hands, and facial mocap from a live video source or pre-recorded video. Prome AI Sketch Render Tool - Your Tradigital Clean Up and Colorist Artist for Character and Background Design

Moho 14 Released - Still the Best 2D Animation Software for Indy Animators on a Budget

Wonder Unit Storyboarder - Free Storyboarding Software for People Who Can (or Can't) Draw

Wonder Unit Storyboarder.  As an independent and solo animator I'm always tempted to try and skip storyboarding my animated shorts because they're usually only single scene sketch comedy type jokes. As a result I have many unfinished projects that kind of petered out due to having no clear finishing line.
