It really pays to attend Reallusion's free animation demonstration Webinars. At a recent webinar, host, Kai DeNeve, featured Replica Studio's A.I. Voice Actor system. Replica uses Artificial Intelligence to learn a real voice actor's speech patterns, tone, and inflection, which can then be used with their Text To Speech (TTS) system to produce the most realistic computer generated voices yet (or at least that I've come across). You can even fine tune how individual words are said and more.

Their TTS system works through a downloadable desktop app for Mac and Windows. There are also bridging apps if you want to use their system for voices in UnReal and Unity Gaming systems.

Sign up for a free account and get 30 minutes of free voice downloads (that's 30 minutes of recorded audio - not 30 minutes to download audio - that you can download a line at a time). After that you can purchase 4 hour blocks for just USD$24.00. Voices can be used in commercial projects.

Currently the system only works for English language but Replica is developing their system for other languages too. For more information visit their website.

30 minutes of free voice downloads is more than enough for use in several animated shorts, and I think you'll be as impressed as I am. [Note: I am not affiliated with their Replica Studios in any way, it just impressed me enough to share with you all].

Voice Actors: Replica is looking to hire voice actors. Full details in their blog.

  1. Looks real good, but when I went to install on Windows, Microsoft edge detected the file as harmful, so I bypassed this and installed anyway and then BitDefender detected a trojan virus in one of the installed files. Needless to say, no matter how good this looks, it won't be installed on my machine again until this is sorted.

    1. I have it installed on Windows 10 with no issues. The developers are aware of your issue based on this quote from a recent email update I received, April 9th, 2021, regarding bug fixes...

"We have identified the cause of two antivirus software companies giving a false positive when opening Replica Studios. We've notified them with details of the false positive and are waiting on them to update their virus databases."

While it's better to be safe than sorry, anti-virus software isn't perfect and often just assumes something could be a virus simply because it can't categorize it as safe.

    2. Yes David is correct. There were two anti virus software which gave false positives on our product. It was something to do with the name 'Replica'.

One has updated their triggers, but BitDefender is being slow.
