Eleven Labs Adds AI Music Generation to its Already Impressive AI Voice and Sound Effect Generation Tools

Eleven Labs launches their AI Music Generator.

Sound effects, music, and in particular getting voice actors can be tricky to source as a solo creator, or even as part of a small team, but Eleven Labs, the gold standard in AI voice generation, can now be your go to tool for all three.

You probably already knew that Eleven Labs is arguably the best generative AI site for realistic, expressive text to speech, voice cloning, and voice changing, with an entire library of voices, in multiple languages to draw upon as well.

I've personally used their tools to clone my own voice to near perfection, which you can sample in this post, Creating an AI Digital Avatar and Voice Clone of Myself with Free and Low Cost AI Tools.

I also use their library of text to speech voices in my animation demonstrations, such as when I used them in my animation demonstrating, The Family Guy Method - Animating Talking Hand Gestures in Cartoon Animator

Eleven Labs Sound Effects Generator.

Potentially lessor know is Eleven Labs AI Text to Sound Effect Generator which, at the time of writing this, you can try, completely free, without an account (you just can't download the sounds).

The sound effects generated aren't always successful but, with four generations at a time, usually one or two will either be useable or have potential if you want to tweak your prompt for the next round.

AI Music

Eleven Music is the latest addition to the site and is well worth a look. Try it out with a free account but you will need to upgrade to a paid plan to download your tunes (if you don't want to commit to an annual plan, paying for a month is extremely affordable and will give you plenty of credits).

Generate songs with or without lyrics from 30 seconds to 4 minutes, with up to 4 generations at a time.

I quickly whipped up some lyrics based upon the premise of my Resident Dragon cartoons and entered the following prompt:

"create an upbeat folk song, featuring guitars and a male vocal, from the following lyrics: The city built a freeway through my cave, So now it's not just food I crave, I need to find a home, A place to call my own, So I'm moving to suburbia. Suburbia is my place, Sharing rooms in a new rat race. I've got an office job, And sharing a couch with my friend's dog, I'm living in Suburbia."

Inochi2D - Free Open Source 2D VTuber Avatar Rigging and Puppeteering Software (Part 2 - Inochi2D Session)

In part one of my deep dive into the free VTuber software, Inochi2D , I focused mainly on Inochi2D Creator, which is used for rigging your character avatar in the correct file format for use with Inochi2D Session, the puppeteering part of the software.
