Custom Animate Your Christmas Messages in Minutes Using Any Character Image with Good Quality Lip Sync

Back in December of 2023 I created a video showing you how to quickly Make a Festive Animated YouTube/TikTok Short!, about 18 seconds in length, using Cartoon Animator and ElevenLabs for a pretty good, AI generated Santa voice.

The resulting Christmas message actually took me a couple of hours to create despite the tutorial video only being around 30 minutes.

Create Comparable Animations in Minutes with Generative AI

Fast forward a couple of years and you can create easily comparable 2D animations with any number of image to video generative AI sites that also support audio and lip syncing. Some of the best can do full body animation, music, and character voices all in the one prompt. I particularly recommend OpenArt AI as your all in one AI tool for advanced generative AI.

However if you want something that can just animate a pretty great, talking head image with lip sync, that doesn't require a lot of noodling around to find and learn all the settings, then LipSync.video is free (with paid options if you need more credit - or you can earn free credits too) and does quite a good job animating all styles of images, from photo real to cartoon.

The site is also divided into specialist AI models that work better with different images (there's even one for multiple characters in an image). I used the AI Cartoon Lip Sync Generator.

It's interface is pretty straight forward:

Select a template image or upload your own.
Choose an AI Model.
Enter your Text to Speech dialogue and choose an AI voice - or - upload or record your own audio.
Enable or disable subtitles.
Generate your video.

LipSync.Video is deceptively simple but it does hide some pretty powerful tools like the Free AI lip sync generator that will let you add lip sync to an existing video (generate just one lip sync video and then just change the audio and lip sync to customize it to specific people)

It's not a complicated tool at all so I would encourage you to try it out. You get 300 free credits daily just for logging in.

For your interest the video below is a comparison of three different tools used to create the same Christmas message. The first is my original Cartoon Animator created message. The second was created in OpenArt with just a prompt using their Omni Human 1.5 AI model. While the last is LipSync Video's AI Cartoon Lip Sync Generator.
